There is this image that comes with being a rapper. You have this gangster like background. You come from the streets or slums and know what it means to live by the gun. You are a bad ass but then you know how to throw or have a party.
Then here comes 50 cent. He came from humble beginnings and rose through the ranks until he became one of music's hottest stars. He is living the life rich and still in the music business and will always have a following. He is somewhat a bad ass because of his feud with Fat Joe.
But this tough guy has a huge heart. He signed up to be a bone marrow donor. And he believes that everyone has the right to a fair chance at life. Unlikely for a rapper to give back and give in this sense. Sometimes its not who the person was that defines him but on what he does in the present that really matters.
