They also inspire us to achieve greatness. They show us how to break barriers. They make complicated stuff look easy. They also have a lifestyle that we all dream of living.

Get up

Ever experienced falling? Not the actually falling but falling down when you've set your hopes so high? So high that once you hit the ground you either have a hard time standing up or can't get up.

We all have reasons why we fall. Reasons why we set our hopes so high and believe that we can reach it instead of falling into the depths below. But what is the best way to react to this?

The answer is simple. Get up! Get your ass up! No matter how painful the fall has been we must get up and not let the pain run our lives. It is in getting up that we strengthen ourselves. It is in getting up that we learn. It is in getting up that we can say "Nothing can break me ever again."

Well thats because they are already drunk! And their mind in its lowest point that one can't think straight. So when you are up and its past 2 a.m., go back to sleep because no good will come out of it.

Stoplight of a choice

I am a PiNoy

There are a lot of people who still don't give him credit. Maybe they have a point. He has yet to prove that he is capable of running a country and in improving our economy. He doesn't have the credentials like his cousin Gilbert Teodoro. Nor the business sense of his fierce rival, during the May elections, Manny Villar. But he has the heart and compassion of his mother, the former President Cory Aquino.

He is the favorite of the late Cory Aquino. He walks awkwardly because he was shot before. When his mother took office, Gen. Honasan ordered an attack on his car because he knows if Noy dies the President will be so devastated that she will have to step down. But it didn't happen. His convoy was ambushed in Taft Ave. but he didn't die. He just got shot at. He was the only survivor. I believe God had a plan for him to be great.

He may look weird. Some people think he has some screws loose in his head. Well I think he is the perfect man for the job. We need his clean conscience. We need his compassionate heart. We need it to unite our country. No, our country is not divided but then there is a huge gap between the masses and the upper class. He can unite us because the masses love him and the upper class/business men need him.

He doesn't need the business men, the business men need him. Politicians need him because he is the Commander in Chief of a great nation. He calls the shots. You can always learn how to do business by surrounding yourself with business-minded individuals but you can't teach how it is to have a good and compassionate heart. An example of this is when he kissed and shook the hand of Imelda Marcos.

Let us just hope that his character will help our country. Let us hope that his character will pass the test.

Forgiveness

Just forgive. Life is too short to hold grudges. Don't let it bother you. Just let go and forgive. If a person has wronged you take a deep breath and listen to this...

Giving up?

The Greenzone is a movie that tackles on the real time controversy regarding the search for the Weapons of Mass Destruction. I'm not here to discuss the plot because that is what the movie is for. Or if you are a spoiler, simply search it on the net.

I am here because I believe this is a must watch movie. Well it makes us realize that nothing is what it seems. That the United States is not really a united country. They have different protection organizations that don't see eye to eye.

The next is that you will get what you deserve. If you treat people like shit, then sooner or later they will bet back at you. Just like the fate of the Iraqi General. He wasn't killed by the Americans, but by his own country men.

The best part about the movie is that it gives us an inside view on what is going on in the U.S. Army.

BP, ruined our planet. Wait, BP is still ruining our planet! They are the cause of one the worst oil spills in history. The leak started late March in the Gulf of Mexico and hasn't stopped! The leak came from one of their drill pipes.

They say that they are doing their best to control this chaos. They have been trying to get on the good side of the media. But the thing is that they need to stop it, period! They need to also be responsible with this incident. They say they've been doing a lot of damage control by organizing clean ups and trying to rebuild the livelihoods that were lost.

Lives have gravely affected. The damage has reached the West Coast. America is suffering and soon the whole world. Because when America sneezes the whole world will catch a cold. No, that doesn't only relate to the financial meltdown last 2008 but also with this catastrophe. It will affect their exportation of goods. And it will have to import more goods. This is needed to compensate for the goods that were affected by the oil spill.

My verdict is that BP should dissolve their whole company and simply sell all their profits to compensate for the lives that were affected. Thats a better option compared to filing for bankruptcy. They won't be able to salvage what they have lost. It is a losing battle for the boys of British Petroleum.

There are a lot of people who think that you have to eat in lavish restaurants to have a delicious meal. But if you just try to go outside your comfort zone and explore. Seriously, there are different kinds of dishes that don't cost an arm and a leg but tastes like heaven. You can find these dishes in street corners or side walks or in small restaurants or cafeterias. You just have to search it and I guarantee you, you will not regret it.

Simple its because Joachim Loew guided a promising young squad to the 3rd place spot. The Germans weren't considered that much of a threat until they demolished England and Argentina. What is amazing is that he did it with a bunch of young hungry Germans.

How about Iker Casillas? He conceded 2 goals! But he redeemed himself with a beyond human performance against Portugal and Paraguay. He was the hero during the first half of the Portugal. Then he was beyond god-like during the Paraguay game. He made an amazing save that saved Spain's World Cup hopes.

The defenders were chosen because of their tenacity. They gave a new meaning to the phrase, the defensive resistance. All of them terrorized attackers. Ramos and Lahm were wrecking havoc at the wing and added more attacking options for their respective teams. Lucio and Mensah were the guardians of the fort. Protecting the crown jewels at all cost not to mention they had the leadership that inspired the whole team.

The best maestros in the world were crowned. It because of how Xavi made their forwards be a goal threat. It was how Honda and Sneijder sparked an amazing comeback and literally carried their teams on their back. Its how Thomas Mueller proved that success isn't linked with age or experience but instead its the desire to win.

The two best people who were able to get the ball in the back of the net were Diego Forlan and David Villa. And they deserved it. The reason is because they were the ones who made their team advance. They showed heart and never gave up even when they were in a pressure situation.

These are stars or rising stars who instead of thinking of their own glory. They place their ego aside and played their heart out. In return they were a cut above the rest.

We often take her for granted but she never, not once took us for granted. She never asked to be appreciated. In fact she would rather praise us than demand the spotlight to be focused on her.

She is our doctor, miracle maker, project finisher, cook, love doctor, driver, dresser, bank, cleaner and sewer. Not to mention she is our number one fan. She will always think that we are the best out there, even if we doubt ourselves.

The best part about her is that she will never leave your side. Even if the whole world treats us like shit. Even if everyone has left our side, she will always be there. She will always be ready to lend a helping hand or give her hugs that simply bring us to heaven.

Long, long time ago we were witnesses to the imagination of George Lucas. It brought back our childhood dreams of fighting in space. Going up against aliens. Saving a beautiful princess, saving the world, saving the republic.

The saga has not only captured our imagination but also has taught as different lessons. It has made us realize a lot of stuff about life, ourselves and destiny.

Paradise

In this fast pace world where being on the go is what is required of us. We have to be on high alert with the changing times.

Even if we are preparing ourselves to wage war in the corporate world. Or if we are just simply trying to get by in the concrete jungle. We choose not to dwell on the fact of paradise.

Typical paradise is leaving the concrete jungle and going to a remote location where it is just you and nature. It is always at the back of our heads and will never leave that part of our head, why?

Because of the possibility that is might distract us from going about our daily activities. But sometimes it can also be some sort of a motivational tool. It can drive us to work so hard for a ticket at paradise.

The sea breeze touching our bodies. The sun, heating us up or the coolness cooling us. The sound of the waves or of insects. The greenery or how blue three-fourths of the world is. The sand or the smell of mother nature. The adventure. Getting lost and discovering new things or simply discovering yourself again. But most importantly having fun and being free.

Those days

There are those days when you wake up you look out the window and see the world crying. The things that pops into our head when we wake up to a rainy morning are sleep and a hot drink. With those stuff we can relax and be one with ourselves.

Sometimes people wish upon a star especially if its a falling star with the hopes of becoming who they dream of becoming. In the real world this can be seen as normal people admiring stars from movies to different kinds of sporting events. But nothing beats the people's admiration of the stars who participate in the world's biggest sporting event, the World Cup.

The world's biggest sporting event, the World Cup feature stars or local heroes battling each other for world supremacy. What if heroes fall? What if stars don't shine? What if expectations aren't met? Then it only proves one thing, anything can happen!

Those who were expected to shine failed to do it because of the fact that they were after greatness. They were after making a name for themselves. They were after personal glory instead of team work. If they deny it then watch them play. Those who did succeed may have had stars but they also lowered their pride for the betterment of team and country.

Its not about making an impact in the competition, its about knowing your role and living up to it. World cup isn't about stars its about who wants it more, its about national pride and its about the glory of a nation and not about the shining of a star. Remember there is no I in team.

Brock of a statement

During the last UFC pay per view event the world saw the coronation of the Baddest Man on Earth. This was when Brock Lesnar submitted the interim champion Shane Carwin to defend his belt. Where am I going with this? Well see here, a lot of people didn't give Brock any credit when he tried to test the waters in a real fighting match. But after every match that he has been a part of, his skill set has improved dramatically. And last Saturday/Sunday (depending on where you were watching) the world saw a versatile Brock Lesnar, a Brock Lesnar who wants to prove something.

The world saw how Brock weathered the early onslaught from the deadly hands of Carwin and came back to not only beat Carwin but make him tapout! After the match, there are still quite a few journalists and sports analysts who still criticized him that he is not that dominant after all. If he is not that dominant then why is he still the champion? Brock showed that he may be new at this sport called mixed martial arts but his heart and determination are his keys to victory.

Brock knows that the criticisms won't stop and he is alright with that because he is using their criticism, their doubt on his skill set to further mature and improve. He is using this as the fuel for the Lesnar Express. He simply will not back down and will not die.
