The Corporation

The real world! The place where people sell themselves to be a different person. To subject themselves to a controlled environment, what for? The answer is simple, to get by each day. The corporate world has a lot of rules in which we have to follow.

There are times in which we have to sacrifice ourselves, like who we want to be and the like in order to get by. A corporate sell out as what others say. But the thing is we can be who we want and still be "A corporate sell out" by not giving up on our passions and goals and dreams.

But even if the corporate world is a place where people live or die, one has got to admit that in the corporate world you have to look good. That is where suiting up comes into play. One must projectehis desire to "succeed".

Just remember this, success is not link with how much you earn but it is link with how you live your life. Be a corporate sell out but also don't forget your dreams and passion.

My choice

I didn't know if I had a choice, I mean if I should choose you or not. But then I realize that there is always that choice of wanting to have a choice. I decided might as well take a chance. 50/50, the odds were kinda ok.

Slowly, as time progressed I didn't know I was falling. I didn't know that I would eat my promise of not falling for anyone because of the trauma in which I experienced.

I realized that WE are not a typical love story, because our story is one for the ages. Our story is, I believe, meant to last a life time.

Here is to OUR story, OUR life.

Leave your mark

People want to leave their mark on just about anything. They want to prove how great they are. How much they mean to someone or to society. But at times these people either try too hard to impress that they rely on material stuff to promote how they can leave their mark on others.

But the thing is, they lose that connection with people. Remember the people who will make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money and the most awards. But they simply are the ones who care the most.

I am legend

If you think about it man, at times, is an island. I mean man tries as much as possible to avoid being alone while the whole world revolves but at one point or the other we end up in that position. Why do we end up there? Good question, the answer is a combination of a lot of things but one thing is certain, we are also to blame for being alone.

Why us? Why not the world or why not society? Because we put ourselves in that position of being alone. We choose to be in this position. Why? Because there are moments when all that matters is me, myself and I. Are these people anti-social? No they just miss being alone. And trust me, it gets to you.

Lost in Nostalgia

All of us, one or the other tend to look back at our past. Like experiences whether happy or sad we want to reminisce at times. We also look back and see how much we've changed. We basically have memories that we can't forget or at times want to keep reliving it.

The reason behind this is because we either miss those memories and would want to relive them. Or that we were gravely affected by them that it prevents us from moving forward to chase our dreams or goals in life.

But then again memories are always a thing of the past and the past has no part in the present and in the future. Yes it is nice to look back where you came from once in a while but don't let it be the reason for you not to achieve your aspirations. Dare to dream because that is what life is about.

The children

A child's innocence can be felt by anyone and anything for that matter.

If you think about it, what is there left to give them when almost everything around them is corrupt.

Let us then give them the right to enjoy OUR Earth.

Worth it

Let us not be blinded by the fact that love will make our world happy. Nor let it dictate our frame of mind but instead let us use it to ease the weight the world makes us carry.

Moments

People want to make the most out of each weekend. For some they have to maximize each day to say that they lived it to the fullest! But what happens when it because a routine? What happens when we always try to make memories and end up making it a routine?

Can't we just simply let time do its job and present us the opportunities to make moments to remember? Because some of the best things are those that don't require a lot of planning.

Weekend Blues

Remember when we were kids and how we would cherish the weekends? Remember how it would bring us bliss but then as we get older the weekends tend to seem to fly by so fast.

I mean like one day we are all enjoying a relaxing weekend then the next it is as if it is just a mere 2 hour break from our work week. But I guess that is how it turns out to be when we all enter the real world (the job market).

Saturday is like our sort of break from the work week, however some of us tend to work half days which is a requirement for certain industries. But Saturday afternoons and nights are meant for unwinding and relaxing. Either taking your time walking through the city or enjoying a cup of Joe while reading a book or partying it up with friends.

But then after it is all said and done. One aftermath is common no matter who you are and that is Sundays are meant to nurture ourselves from the party we went to the previous night. Or it could also be intended for just being lazy especially after Sunday brunch or lunch. But definitely time flies by so fast that we have to prepare for the next day.

Here's to the fast pace week and an even faster paced weekend!

All of us tend to lose our way. Like when we lose someone we love. Or when we experience a breakup. Or how about when we finish school and don't know which job to take. Or when we simply don't know where to go.

Like when we question ourselves if this is who we want to be, if this is what we want to do or if this is what we were meant to do. We are lost even if we have a routine because there is that emptiness.

That emptiness that we are not fulfilling our destiny. So we find ourselves lost with no where to go.

We find ourselves walking all alone and feeling a sense of worthlessness because we are not maximizing what the good Lord has given. Because we always envision ourselves in this dreamland but then reality strikes.

There are moments when we are stuck and blinded with the belief that what we are doing will answer our questions. Then when we don't find the answer we feel as if we are helpless and alone.

Then again we are never alone. We think we are but we never really are. We always have a walking companion whether its our special someone, best friend, our parents. But thats not our only companion, He is there.

No is really alone and lost. We just need to be patient and believe that we are meant for something better and not be blinded with hopelessness and how others put us down. We are not alone and we are all destined for greatness, just be patient and find yourself.

I.M.A.G.I.N.E.

Society and well other people tend to hinder our creativity. They believe that we are not yet in that level to be having those kinds of concepts. Then we find out that they use them and claim it as their own. Bummer ain't it?

But that shouldn't stop us. Damn the man! Keep on imagining. Nothing should hinder your creativity. I believe that everyone is creative and that no one is not creative.

Imagination running wild and thoughts full of color will always put a smile on your face. I mean seriously, nothing will make you smile like a picture that is bursting with color. Let your thoughts run wild and express them.

There are days when you have to be on your toes for an important event or meeting or instance in your life. You prepare for that moment. You don't want to ruin that chance that was given to you.

But then as your day unfolds, there are forces that ruin it. Like the weather and the like so we have to deal with it. But then as your day progresses, it gets worse just as if you were stuck in quick sand.

So, after a long day why not vent it all out like a volcano. Release all your frustrations and believe that the next day will be a better one. All we have to focus on is now.

Summer blur

There are times when I just want to it resting on the field with you on a hot summer day.

Because I'd rather be doing nothing with you.

Just to let you know, when I look at you the world is a blur and you are the only clear picture.

Live the dream

To want something means you have to dream big and you need support.

We forget however that there is light at the end of every dark tunnel and that you have to go through the rain to see a rainbow. We just have to be patient. But the thing is, where do we find that strength to hold on?
