Rise of the underdogs

The greatest underdog story of all time is the story of David and Goliath, when the small and humble sheepherder took down the might giant. Time and experience has taught us never to under estimate any opponent but in recent times its always the dominant one who comes out on top, or so we thought.

In the world stage of the world's greatest and most popular game, our perception of a dominant team making an example out of the weaker team is being shattered with the recent results we have seen. Giants of the sport have been slayed by the small soldiers. The most feared squads have been over shadowed by the dark horses. Why is that?

Well, the sudden rise of the underdogs can be attributed to them not fearing the other team. They believe that they can do it and that mind set has made them silence the people who have said that it can't be done. If you think you'll lose, you will its all in the mind. Your state of mind can either motivate you to excellence or it can drag you to failure.

Beware of the underdogs because they have nothing to lose and everything to gain, they will gut it out and prove their worth.

With but few exceptions, it is always the underdog who wins through sheer willpower. Johnny Weissmuller

Vaticano

Vatican City the smallest state in the entire world and it is one of the most guarded and most watched state aside from Great Britain. It is the seat of the Papalcy of the entire Christian community.

The breath taking works of art preserved and being restored as we speak is what draws thousands upon thousands of tourists every week. It is no doubt safe and tourists have nothing to worry about. Why is that? Why doesn't anyone care to commit a crime? Well maybe its because they respect the place they are in. They respect one of the Holiest places on Earth and wouldn't dare commit a crime.

The thing with the Vatican is that you can go back over and over again and still be not only amazed but still breathless. Also I almost forgot about the solemnity of being in the same place in which the holiest men on Earth have lived.

K.O. means Kobe the One

People, after Michael Jordan retired from the game, have been looking for a Jordan - like player to admire. The thing is no one wants to fill the void left by a great player nor be compared to a great player. Athletes want to make a name for themselves and Kobe is one of them.

Grant Hill, Kobe's got your number. In your face!

With that shot, people may still link him to being Jordan but for Kobe, it is simply being Mr. Bryant. Yes, Jordan has set the bar for being Mr. Reliable but Kobe doesn't want to remembered by any other nickname but from being Kobe Bryant, Lakers' leader.
